Professional experience
Shon is a systemic psychotherapist and is also a qualified social worker and learning disability nurse. Shon is registered with and accredited by the UKCP (find on UKCP) and Social Work England. Shon is a member of the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) and the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS). As such Shon complies with the standards of practice and code of ethics of these bodies.
Shon has worked in Local Authority, NHS and Independent Practice for 25 years. Shon currently works in the NHS as a Senior Lecturer and in independent practice as a senior clinician and safeguarding lead.
