Website Analytics Information
We use self-hosted Plausible Community Edition to understand overall trends in website traffic. Plausible measures only essential, aggregate analytics data such as page URL, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate country, region, and city.
Plausible does not use cookies, local storage, or browser storage. It does not create persistent identifiers and does not track people across websites, apps, days, or devices. Raw IP addresses and full User-Agent strings are used transiently to calculate anonymous daily statistics and are not stored.
Cookies and Analytics
We use privacy-friendly website analytics to improve our services and user experience. Our analytics setup helps us understand:
- Number of visitors to our website
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- How visitors arrived at our website
- General geographic location (country/city level)
- Device and browser information
Plausible Community Edition
We use Plausible Community Edition, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool, for website analytics. Plausible provides aggregated website usage statistics without analytics cookies and without building advertising profiles.
To count unique visits without cookies, Plausible creates a daily identifier from the website domain, IP address, User-Agent, and a daily salt. The salt is rotated and deleted every 24 hours. This prevents tracking visitors across days while still allowing us to see useful aggregate trends.
Our Plausible analytics data is used only to improve this website. We do not sell, share, or use analytics data for advertising.
